CSA Share
Application

We at Willoway Farm are inviting you to consider us for a CSA (community supported agriculture) in 2010. Willoway Farm grows all crops on approximately 1.5 acres.  The garden is created to exemplify the French Intensive Garden method which includes permanent raised beds with soft clover footpaths between. Hand tools are the main source of cultivation to leave a light tread on the earth keeping compaction to a minimum. The share is enough food for 3-5 people for one week. We fill a half bushel basket filled with vegetables, fruit when in season, and fresh herbs. We also raise honey bees for the enhancement of the biodiversity of the farm.

Last year we had positive response to our CSA produce and this year we have decided to expand our membership to a limit of 45 members. Currently we offer a full share which includes 20 weeks of seasonable produce from the 1st week of June through the week ending in October 16th. Please consider 45 shares is a low number and it is possible the spots may fill quickly. The fee for the 20 weeks is $530 dollars plus a refundable deposit of $10.00 for the reusable ½ bushel baskets we rotate with each member. The deposit will be returned upon receiving the both baskets at the end of the season. A full season of 45 members is our limit and if we fulfill that we will not be able to offer the half share season because of the size of our garden.

CSA sign up procedure

Once Willoway Farm receives your application we will respond to confirm your CSA membership. Once you receive the conformation you may move forward with the payment plan you signed up for.We will respond with a confirmation as soon as possible to give you the time needed to plan for your summer.
