WILLOWAY FARM MISSION STATEMENT
Established 2007
Farmers: Daniel Bertram & Jacqueline Fulcomer
We intend to grow great foods, pleasing to the senses and nutritious to the body. We will do so by growing said “great food” in a diversified growing space of mixed vegetation and varied animal forms. Waste from one form being the fuel for another, where output equals input and input equals output. Our role throughout is to guide the flow of nutrition for one form to another then to skim the surface of these fertile fields making the best available for the people of our region, all the while keeping our eye on the beautiful flow of each crystalline moment to the next; absorbing and releasing or inhale exhale.
We also strive to learn all we can and practice saving our own seeds to better shape the forms to suit our own space. We support organic and biodynamic farming practices and these are used throughout our farm. However, we are currently not certified organic. We hope strike a balance where the output and input are near equals, thus achieving sustainability. In addition we continue to share what we learn with the community and not use any poisons on our products.
